He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret. He is survived by: his daughters, Petra (Gabi Breunig) and Karin (John Amarica); his sister-in-law Renate Rohrbach (late Alfred); his sister Helga Maul (Willi); and his brother-in-law Vilmos Domsodi (late Edith). He is also survived by his two step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Glen Stor Dun Lodge would be appreciated by the family.
