He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne Lemire; his siblings, Leon, Roland and Aline; and his parents, Joseph Lemire and Albina Lemire.

He is survived by: his children, Julie Lemire (Pierre-Yves Pilon), Lise Secord (Gerry) and Michel Lemire (Cheryl Fisher); his grandchildren, Robby, Jill, Andrea, Richard and Vincent; his great grandchild Addyson; and his brother Roger Lemire.
