She was predeceased by: her spouse Brydone Dunlop (Jim); her parents, Allan McAvity and Amy McAvity; and her brothers, Jack McAvity, Tom McAvity, Jim McAvity, George McAvity and Doug McAvity.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Edmunds (Brian), Heather Chernets (Eddie) and Martha Anderson (David). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
