He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Cornett and Maria Cornett (Alfonso); his daughter Suzanne Cornett; his granddaughter Natalie; and his siblings, Emile, Art (late Joan), Julie Lalonde (late Hilliard) and Stella Stewart.

He is survived by: his spouse Jean Cornett (Sullivan); his children, Denis Cornett, Paul Cornett (Melanie), Diane Cornett, Pauline Cornett and Jeannine Alguire; his grandchildren, Angela, Sophie, Natasha, Maria and Terry; his great grandchildren, William, Christopher and Jorian; and his siblings, Albert Cornett (Dorothy), James Cornett (Lianne) and Theresa Newcomb (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces.

As expressions of sympathy memorial donations (by cheque) to the Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
