We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2021, at the age of 95, Eric McCartney (Cornwall, Ontario), born in Ormstown, Québec passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Jean McCartney (Jeannie); and his siblings, David McCartney (Ruth), Everett McCartney (Cathy), Ruby Bott (Willis), Grace Long (Gerald) and Laura MacDonald (Jack).

He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Carey (Angele) and Donna Kirkey (Christopher); his grandchildren, Christian-Scott (Hilary), Chanel (James), Mackenzie, Cameron and Caroline; and his sister Marjorie Defoe (late Garth). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will be able to accommodate the first 50 people who arrive for the Memorial Service in the chapel.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. John's Presbyterian Church, or Carefor Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
