She was predeceased by: her husband Harold McGill; her parents, Adam Dixson and Lillian Dixson; and her brother Robert Dixson. She is survived by: her sons, Robert (Laurene), Douglas (Diane), James (Diane) and David McGill; her grandchildren, Kevin (Jennifer), Stephen (Alison), Cary (Mike), Leslie, Christopher (Jennifer), Erin and Dillon; and her great grandchildren, Harry, Benn, Mary, Jazlyn, Jakob, Sadie, Piper and Lily.
