She was predeceased by: her husband John T. Peters; her parents, Johannes van Alphen and Gerarda Van Stiphout; her son Finley; and her siblings, Bertha, Jo, Jan, Marinus and Harrie.
She is survived by: her sons, John W. (Agathe), Garry (Marilyn), Theodore Mary (Jayne) and Robert (Nancy); her sister Mieke; her siblings-in-law, Christina Jans of Moose Creek, Hen (Mariet), Toon, Nellie, Truus (Koos) and Thea of Austria; and her grandchildren, Clayton, Garry Jr., Katherine, Patrick, Curtis, Daniel, Sheri-Lyn, Brianne, John M., Jean-Philip, Alexandra, Josh, Zack and Emilie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Treatment Centre (Cornwall), St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre (Cornwall) or a charity of your choice.
