He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile Cholette and Blanche Cholette; and his siblings, Gaetane Cholette, Laurier Cholette, Lorenzo "Larry" Cholette, Mary Jane Grant, Rita Schenk, Aline Menard and Charmaine Quenneville.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Cholette; his children, Donna Cholette (Michael O'Shea), Deborah Cholette and Michael Cholette (Tina Kafenzakis); his grandchildren, Deryk, Chantal, Karmen, Kieran, Natalie, Patrick, Sophie, Caleb, Meghan, Kristopher and Ronan; and his siblings, Arthur Cholette (late Jean) and Jean Paul Cholette (late Ghislaine).

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Ottawa or to Muscular Dystrophy Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
