He was predeceased by: his significant other Jacqueline; his parents, Wilfred Caron and Amelia Caron; and his siblings, Maurice (Barbara), Lionel (Murriel), Roger (Aurielle), Gordon (Francoise), Romeo (Lillian) and Fleurette.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Caron (Diane), Nicole and Daniel; his siblings, Rolland (Rose), Jeaninne Bergeron (Floyd) and Rejeanne Perrault (Rheal); his grandchildren, Elise (Denis), David (Jill) and Chantal Arcand; his great grandchildren, Amanda Lascelle, Sara Lascelle and Samantha Saucier; and his great great grandchild Karsyn Piper.
