He was predeceased by: his siblings, William, Jean Munroe, Helen Bryant and Margaret Gowen; and his parents, Herbert Smith and Gertrude Smith.
He is survived by: his spouse Donalda "Donnie" Smith; his children, Allan Smith (Sandra) and Grant Smith; his grandchildren, Shauna Ouellette (Brad), Mallory, Leonard (Leah), Zachary, Duncan (Anna), Maggie, Evan and Caroline; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Madeleine and Lincoln.
