He was predeceased by: his spouse Marion McNaughton; his son Brian McNaughton; his parents, Robert McNaughton and Stella McNaughton; and his brother Keith.

He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Pilgrim (Ken) of Cornwall; and his sisters, Eileen Lawrence and Ruth Rain.
