She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Nielsen and Line Nielsen. She is survived by: her spouse Denis Poitras; her children, Alisha Poitras (Adam) and Natasha Poitras (Alex); her grandson Bennett; and her siblings, John Nielsen (Jennifer), Hans Nielsen (Jackie), Preben Nielsen (Honey) and Preben Hermansen. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and great friends.
