He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Stewart and Dorothy Stewart; his daughter Debra Ford; his granddaughter Aayliah Ford; and his brother-in-law Frank Jensen.

He is survived by: his wife Diane; his son Michael Stewart (Brittany); his grandchildren, Bryce Ford, Trinity, Olivia, Eli, Levi and Nate Stewart; his sister Marlene Toivonen (Sven); and his brothers-in-law, Jack Jensen (Caron), Dennis Jensen and Patrick Jensen.
