He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Silmser; his parents, Omer Ménard and Irène Ménard; and his siblings, Marguerite Proulx (René), Rhéal Ménard (late Annette), Conrad Ménard (late Jacqueline) and Gérald Ménard (late Jeanne).

He is survived by: his significant other Ange Nadeau; his children, Danny (Tanya), Denise and Christian Hannig; his grandchildren, Sara (Richard), Christian, Nicholas, Noah and Nolan; his great grandchildren, Adriana, Evan and Ashton; and his siblings, Georgette Julien (late Réjean), Denise Samson (Marcel), Carmen Gratton (late Roger) and Liliane Parisien (Richard).

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.
