He is survived by: his spouse Catherine Silmser (MacLeod); his children, Carolyn Homer (Gordon) of Toronto, Alan Silmser (Anita) of Scottsdale and David Silmser of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Christopher Homer (Heidi), Michael Homer (Veronika), Ryan Homer and Shane Lamarche-Silmser; his great grandchildren, Isaac Homer and Clara Homer; and his siblings, Dorothy Parker (Henry) of Niagara Falls and Marion Stephenson (Robert) of Ingleside.
