He is survived by: his wife Ida Beaty; his child Hilary Beaty; his grandchildren, Paul Nixon and Jenni Nixon (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Finley, Thadius and Aarden; and his sisters, Sheila Gartland of England and Iris Glendenning of England.
