She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Hooker; her children, Kelly Stapley (Theresa Steenkamp) and Melissa St. Denis (Yvon Godard); her siblings, Denis (Sophie), Gerald (late Doreen), Maurice (Lise), Patricia Dumond and Viola Roy; and her parents, Clovis Roy and Viola Roy.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Stapley and Catherine Stapley; her grandchildren, Candice, Emily, Lindsey, Errik, Charitée, Christien, Kalon, Kelemen, Stephanie and Nathaniel; and her siblings, Isabelle Girard (Melvin), Clovis (Trudy), Laurier and Philip. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
