He was predeceased by: his child Chris Varin; and his parents, Marcel Varin and June Varin (Cline). He is survived by: his girlfriend Line Morin; his stepchildren, Cynthia Jarry, Patsy Jarry and Kevin Jarry (Alexandre Lamontagne); his stepgrandchildren, Edouard Laurin-Jarry and Maeva Jarry; and his siblings, Danny Varin (Denise), Linda Tuttobene (Chris), Elaine Roy (Russ Disotell) and Lisa Viscount (Morris). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the OSPCA or the Epilepsy Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
