He was predeceased by: his children, Cheryl Dufresne (Tony) and Terry Villeneuve; his sister Elaine of Ottawa; his parents, Maurice Villeneuve and Olga Villeneuve; and his in-laws, Bill and Theresa Boisvenue.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his grandchildren, Patrick Dufresne (Maria) and Krista Meehan (Lewis); his great grandchildren, Nolan Fenn and Liam Meehan; and his brothers, Wayne (Sherill) of Rockland and Garry (Carolyn) of Carlsbad Springs.
