With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Ronald Beckstead (Cornwall, Ontario), who passed away on March 11, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Dale Ronald is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dale Ronald's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Beckstead and Catherine Beckstead; and his siblings, Dean Beckstead, Joyce Smith (late Wesley) and Jean Beaudry (Raymond).
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Beckstead. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch (20 Seventh St W, Cornwall, ON K6J2X7). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cornwall OSPCA or Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.
