Charlotte Irma Joan Light Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Charlotte Irma Joan Light (Cornwall, Ontario), whose life came to an end on August 30, 2024 at the age of 14, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John Light, Michael and Tammy Cook. She is survived by: her parents, Gregory Light and Ashley Light; her siblings, Hawley, Mayzie, Penelope, Beckett and Ezekiel; her grandmother Marilynn Light; her great-grandparents, Irma Cook and Wayne Sorbie; and her aunts and uncles, Andrew Peck (Erin), Tanis Merimee (Bill), Thomass Light (Tracy), Raïssa Smith (Nicholas), Meredith Koopman (Paul) and Drew Cook (Kayla). She is also survived by 32 cousins, extended family, and many, many friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (822 Pitt St, Cornwall, ON K6J3S2). A private funeral service was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made in Charlotte's name to Life Canada (lifecanada.org) or Catholic Relief Services (CRS.org).
