He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice; his brothers, Morgan, Robert, John and Gordon "Bud"; and his parents, Clifford Arthur and Grace Arthur.

He is survived by: his children, Murray Charles Arthur (Heather), Jayne Arthur (Michael) and Stephen Arthur (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Jordan (Julia) and Barrett (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Giuliana, Georgia and Louis; and his sibling Eleanor (Stuart).
