She was predeceased by: her husband Edward; her sons, Brent and Wayne; her parents, Frances Freund and John Freund; her stepfather Martin Staub; and her siblings, Martin Staub Jr., Mary Ann Heinimann (late Marcus) and Mary Ann Schweder (late Karl).

She is survived by: her close friend Steve Prokosh; her son Ron (Linda); her daughter-in-law Iris; her grandchildren, Brock Riviere (Meghan), Shannon Partridge (Chris), Stacy Foley (Bill), Julie Wilson (David) and Ryan Riviere (Jennifer); and her siblings, Joe Freund (Norma), Mike Staub (Gwen), Frances Kempf (Frank) and Betty Steiner (late John). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
