He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy and Earl. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Carla Vanderhelm (Martin) of Brockville, Kimberley (Paul) of Whitby, Katherine (Sandy) of Whitby and James (Karen) of Maxville; his grandchildren, Adam, Jessica Vanderhelm, Liam, Noah, Mara Ault and Euan Archibald; and his great grandchildren, Max, Sam Vanderhelm, Adrianna and Rene Sauve.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Ottawa Heart Institute, Cornwall Community Hospital, Cornwall Masonic Charitable Foundation, and the Karnak Shriners.
