We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2025, at the age of 93, Bonnie Markell (Cornwall, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Bonnie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bonnie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Glenn Markell; her parents, Merton O'Shaughnessy and Medora O'Shaughnessy; and her siblings, Gordon O'Shaughnessy, Beverly Marrs (late Winston) and Edna O'Shaughnessy.

She is survived by: her sons, William and Blaine Markell; and her sisters, Elsie Gallinger (Gerald), Rita Diguer (late Ron) and Evelyn Beckstead (late Carl).

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
