He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice Giroux; his parents, Jean-Baptiste Plourde and Anne-Marie Plourde; his son Robert Plourde; and his brother Gratien Plourde.
He is survived by: his couch buddy Muffin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
