He was predeceased by: his wife Gisèle Taillefer; his parents, Eugene Taillefer and Sarah Taillefer; and his siblings, Marion Lemieux, Rita Trudell, Joe, George, Larry and Eugene Taillefer.

He is survived by: his child Lynn Wylie (Greg Wylie); his grandson Benjamin Wylie; his sister Ida Contant; and his siblings-in-law, Therese Laporte (Jacques), Pauline Gendreau (Germain), Lise Legault (Bob), Mariette Laflèche (Del), Denise Montroy, Maurice Servais and Ginette Bourassa-Varin (Bernard).

As expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Carefor Hospice Cornwall would greatly be appreciated by the family.
