He is survived by: his spouse Isabel MacDonell; his sibling Gertrude MacDonell; his children, Hugh Charles (Sandra Murray), Cathy (Jim McManaman), Jerome (Patricia Wheeler) and Roy; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Lindy, Allister, Michael and Hannah.
