He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Kathryn Briere; his grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan, Caylee, Zachary, Ryleigh and Brooklynn; his parents, Elizabeth Briere and Rheal Briere; and his siblings, Richard Briere (Pamela), Angela King (Wayne), Anita Goudie (James), Monique Briere (Mario Chevrier) and Lynn Pommainville (Daniel).
