It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Alexander McDonald (Cornwall, Ontario), who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton McDonald and Janet McDonald; his siblings, Mark, Betty and Karen; and his granddaughter Katie.

He is survived by: his wife Annie; his children, Kim Dirschl (Hal) of Calgary and Dwayne McDonald (Christine) of Cornwall; his grandchildren, Emma, Heather, Cylie (Jo) and Cody (Jayme); his great grandchildren, Oaklynn and Brantley; his siblings, Iona (late Paul), Marilyn (Ted), Cecilia (Al), Brian (Cate), Wayne and Adele (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Bernie (Elaine), Christena, Isabelle, Monica (Peter), Heather and Marlene.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Crohns and Colitis Canada or Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
