In the sacred silence of farewell, Alan Peter is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Alan Peter's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Black and Catherine Black; and his siblings, Leo Black (Ghislaine), Donald Black (Marion), Frank Black, Dorothy Black and Steve Black (Barbara). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canada Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
