He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Berger and Therese Berger (Valade). He is survived by: his children, Stephane, Christian (Stacey) and Melanie; and his sisters, Marie-Claire Berger, Francine Dumas (Nick), Johanne Berger and Diane Berger. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
