He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Caldwell and Katie Caldwell (Seymour); his wife Lila Caldwell (Oakes); his son Arnold Caldwell; his daughter-in-law Maxine Caldwell (Cole); and his siblings, Michael Caldwell, James Caldwell, Agnes Boots-Caldwell and Annie McDonald-Caldwell.

He is survived by: his sister Christine Taylor; his children, Deborah Caldwell (Vaughn) of Cornwall Island, Harold Caldwell of Cornwall Island and Norman Caldwell of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Dallas Caldwell (Christine), Dakota Caldwell, Philip Bourgeois, Lorrie Caldwell (Louie Cook), Katelyn Cook (Andrew Espling) and Kara Cook; his great grandchildren, Bradley Cook-Green, Ashtynn, Maelee, Bostin, Dallas Jr. Cook, Tenisha Caldwell, Kyiah, Bronce, Stylez King, Tyren, Chase, Mila Cook, Auria, Jaxson Espling, Coen and Nial Ettherington; and his grandson Joshua King. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no visitations and a private memorial mass will be set at a later date for immediate family only.
