He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Soifer and Sonia Soifer. He is survived by: his siblings, Gloria Benchea, Frances Levine (Bob Matthews) and Barry Soifer; his nieces and nephews, Diane Levine, Floriann Levine, Stephanie Soifer (Harley Sonnenshein), Mark Soifer and Michael Soifer; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarah, Alexander and Julianna Sonnenshein. He is also survived by his many cousins and friends.
