He is survived by: his children, Peter Thompson (Karen), Mark Thompson (late Susan), Paul Thompson (Jan), Michael Thompson (Angie), Denis Thompson, Suzanne Thompson and Rose Marie Thompson (Ralph). He is also survived by grandfather, great grandfather and great- great grandfather.
