It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Veta Bedrij (Coniston, Ontario), born in Biggar, Saskatchewan, who passed away on September 30, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Mike Bedrij (Mychajlo); her grandchildren, Billy Laundry (Sarah) and Jessica Martin (Mathew Sheardown); her parents, Leroy Thomas and Alice Thomas; and her siblings, Norm (Paulette), Bob (late Marge), Verla (late Les), Bill, Leola (Jack) and Francis (Everett). She was also cherished by three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
