He was predeceased by: his parents, Delphis Gauvreau and Lucia Gauvreau; and his siblings, Tom, Aurore, Anita, Hector, Albert, Oscar, Jim, Irène, Leo and Thérèse.
He is survived by: his wife May Gauvreau; his children, Stephen Gauvreau, Rachelle Clouthier (Rick) and Leanne Désormeaux (Don); and his grandsons, Martin (Teagan), Yvon (Mélanie), Sébastien and Mathieu (Taylor). He is also survived by his many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
