He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Jacqueline; his wife Yolande (Jalbert); his parents, Joseph Chabot and Helen Evans; and his siblings, Owen, Graham, Vera (James Uren), Ronald (Vicki), Dorothy (George Nowlan), Desmond (Mary), Helen Barkley, Cecil (Alice), Daniel (Claire) and Richard (Mary).
He is survived by: his children, Wayne (Joan), Vaughn (Val), Douglas (Nanci), Stephen (Janis), Leann (Dru Germanoski) and Donald Jr.; and his stepchildren, Emile (Mary) and Lynn (Kevin).
