He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Labonte; his parents, Leo Labonte and Elizabeth Labonte; and his siblings, Pauline Dupuis and Rene.

He is survived by: his sons, Kevin (Denise) and Jeffery (Adele); and his sisters, Theresa Goossens and Joan Kent. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and many special friends.
