She was predeceased by: her spouse Emiel Dendooven; her grandson Joshua; her parents, Médard Focquaert and Irma Claeys; her in-laws, Jules Dendooven and Emelia Sallet; her siblings, Frans (Annie), Paul (Jeanine) and Marleen (Herman); and her brother-in-law Daniel (late Liliane).
She is survived by: her children, Diane (Dave Thibert), David (Michael Brock), Chantal (Dennis Tremblay) and Derek (Jennifer Mullen); her grandchildren, Greg (Ruth), Rachelle, Alenna (Eric), Aiden, Riley, Denica and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Logan and Alessia; her siblings, Monique (late Placide), Herman (late Lydia), Rosanne (Jan), Robert (Nicole), Joris (Marleen), Willy (Marleen) and Martina (Paul); and her siblings-in-law, Gilbert (Nera), Jérôme (Rosa) and Marie-Irène. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
