William Hammond Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hammond of Collingwood, Ontario, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley; his children, Jimmy and Danielle (Kevin York); his granddaughters, Ava and Audrey Hammond; his parents, Harry Hammond and Violet Hammond; his siblings, Bob (Kathy), Marilyn (Paul McInnis), Carolyn (Dan Collings), John, Ken, Reg, Tom and Tim; and also Shirley. He was also cherished by his brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fawcett Funeral Homes - Collingwood Chapel (82 Pine St, Collingwood, ON L9Y2N7). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Church (140 Maple St, Collingwood, ON L9Y2P8).
In lieu of flowers donations in Jim's memory may be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation.
