He was predeceased by: his parents, David Griffin and Margaret Griffin; and his siblings, Douglas, Irene and Georgina.
He is survived by: his wife Pat (Pat); his children, Brady (Leah), Lara (Kimani) and Kristy; his grandchildren, Quentin, Damion, Owen and Ella; and his sister Margaret. He is also survived by his extended family and his many friends.
