Walter Varley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2024, at the age of 78, Walter Varley of Collingwood, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Ronnie (Peggy) and Sherry; his stepdaughter Corrine Price; his parents, James Varley and Ellen Varley; and his siblings, Harvey, Arlie, Billy, Calvin, Ivan, Evelyn, Mervin, Lillian, Butch, Phillip and Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Price; his children, Paul Varley, Dave Varley (Debbie) and Cheryl Varley (Jeremy Stewart); his stepchildren, Rachel Price, Margaret Thornley (Mike), George and Clifford (Tannis); and his siblings, Ada and John. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fawcett Funeral Homes - Collingwood Chapel (82 Pine St, Collingwood, ON L9Y2N7). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
