He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Fredrick Gabler Jr. and Carolyn Mae Gabler; his brother John Howard Gabler; and his aunt Tootie'Delores Janette Hagelstein. He is survived by: his wife Carole Cushing; his stepson Ethan Fleming Cushing (Michelle); his stepgrandchildren, Hamish and Oliver; his stepsons, Andrew and Luke Taylor; his grandchildren, Camille Horton-Poole, Elliot, Eva Gabler, Ella, Elias Leskovec, Hazel and Lily Cooke; his sister Carolyn Esther Gabler; his nieces and nephews, Sarah (Gabler), Kolar (Michael) and John Gabler Jr. (Cheryl); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael Jr., Margaret Kolar, John III and Madison Gabler. He is also survived by son and daughters.
