Shirley Jackson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Jackson of Collingwood, Ontario, born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on August 12, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth "Jeep" Jackson; her parents, Alexander McLean and Ann McLean; her brother Ross; and her sister-in-law Dianne McLean.

She is survived by: her sons, Mike (Doreen), Paul (Karen) and Rob Jackson (Dawn); her grandchildren, Ryan Jackson (Michelle), Courtney Comly (Andy), Lauren Jeffrey (Gary), Tara Smit (Paul), Taylor Jackson (Shane McDonald), Alex Jackson (Kristy) and Spencer Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Maddy, Ashley, Hanna, Fitzgerald, Edie, Callen, Bennett, Carter, Emery, Gracey and Jaden. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation or Hospice Georgian Triangle - Campbell House in Shirley's memory.
