He was predeceased by: his wife Anna; his daughter-in-law Debbie Leal; his grandchildren, Meaghan (Traian), Michael (Montana), Spencer (Jaden), Kyle (Brooke), Leyna (Matt), Jena (Kris), Justin (Danielle), Andrew, Adam (Korey), Nicholas (Emilee), Madison and Emma (Adam); his great grandchildren, Lennox, Lincoln, Benner, Hudson, Livi, Emery and Malory; his parents, Harry Leal and Florence Leal; and his siblings, Donald "Joe", Percy and Irene Curle (Patrick).
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Bell (Jim), Rob (Janeen), Mike (Debbie Ball), Cindy Muller (Mike) and Kari Mirrlees (James); his brother Harry (Darlene); and his sister-in-law Jo Anne Leal.
