He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Mike (Kim Giffen) and Lori (Paul Pitcher); his grandchildren, William, Lucas, Jack, Zoe, Blaise, Leonardo and Mila; his parents, Francis "Frank" and Mary "Eileen" Giffen; his siblings, Patricia Sawarna (John), Fran Levesque (Guy), John, Gerry (Ruth) and Margaret Wilson (late Peter); and also, Trista Hannan (Jani) and Tracy Hannan (Raul). He was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or Autism Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
