He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen and Leo; his siblings, Emmett and Mary Catherine; his wife Barbara (Aspen); his children, Robert Helwig (Andrea), Bruce Helwig and Anne Yull (Duncan); his sisters, Carol Phelan (Tom) and Marilynne Teskey (Greg); and his great grandchild Sidney. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (3055 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X1C6).
