She was predeceased by: her son Jeff Sheppard; her great grandchild Riley; and her brother Herb Breese. She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Sheppard (Bryan Morgan); her grandchildren, Robert Brown (Kristen Etkins), Austin Sheppard (Maddy Schmidt), Wyatt Sheppard (Dawn Smith), Rebecca Brown (Danny Foster), Jesse Sheppard, Kailee Morgan, Jeff Brown and Brendan Morgan; her great grandchildren, Nicole, Hazel and Hailee; her sisters, Connie Spencer (Dave) and Cheryl Hendy (Mike); her sibling-in-law Pat Breese; and her friends, Sara Black and Lorraine Gerbase. She is also survived by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society or the Canadian Red Cross in Jane's memory.
