James Donald Paul Bell Obituary
Died peacefully on Tuesday May 7, 2024 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 63. Jim of Collingwood, beloved son of Jane Johnston and the late Donald Bell. Dear brother of Mary (the late Frank Jeffrey), Brian (Cindy), David (Helen) and Peter. Jim will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. Jim was kind, fun loving man. He spent many years on the Great Lakes working on the ships. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and was an accomplished marksman. He took pleasure in a good bonfire and cooking over the open flame. Jim's family wish to thank the entire health care team that cared for him over these past few years. Their kindness and support will never be forgotten. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home -Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday May 14, 2024 for a come and go celebration. Private interment Stayner Union Cemetery. If desired, a donation to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
